Kim Allsup - President Cimarrone Golf & Country Club Resident
My community is my passion. I moved from Grand Haven, Michigan to Cimarrone three years ago. The research I completed of this growing sector was impressive - great schools, lots of new shops and restaurants and three beautiful golf courses made this an easy move!
I eagerly got involved by volunteering within Cimarrone as a chairperson or committee member for various social functions and served as PTO President at Timberlin Creek Elementary until my children had moved on to middle school.
The next logical step was to get a job while the kids were on the same school schedule, but my passion prevailed. The members of the Board have formed this Alliance as an outlet for positive change and I am excited to be a part of it. Although we all began as strangers, our common desires to enhance our quality of life have made us friends; the very essence of what a community is about.
Please enjoy this website as a resource, but better yet, become involved! Together we will make a difference!

Dianne Drinkwater- Secretary Johns Creek Resident I am very passionate about my community and the 210 area. I want to assist our area businesses and homeowner's to preserve the natural beauty of our area, explore ways to assist local businesses to keep our local economy strong and promote controlled growth. I want to help all homeowners' voices to be heard by our local government. It is for this reason, I became involved in 210CA.
I was born in a small town in Massachusetts and attended the UMass, Amherst college for two years. I began my career in Banking in the 1980's in New Jersey then Maine and worked my way up the banking ladder as bookkeeper, Investor Accountant, Asset Recovery Officer, SBA Underwriter, VP Lead Business Banking Underwriter and then VP Portfolio Administration in Florida.
My husband and I moved to Florida in 2005. It was the best choice we've made. We first moved to Gainesville following jobs and then moved to Johns Creek in 2006 where I've held the position of Chairperson for our Architectural Control Committee since that time. I have a brother and sister in law who live in South Hampton and a nephew and family who lives in Mandarin. Two of our adult children now live locally.
After working in a banking career for over 25 years, I decided to do something new. I received my License as a Community Association Manager in 2009 and currently work for Leland Management Inc. in its division office in Jacksonville. I also became a FL Master Gardener, passed my Certification of Completion -BMP in Fertilizer with the University of FL Extension office and Department of Environmental Protection and continue to enjoy landscape design.
Barbara Favale - Treasurer St. Johns Golf & Country Club Resident
I was born and raised in Long Island, NY. As an adult, I have lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and now Florida is my last stop. I've been married 37 years to my husband, Pat, and have twin sons, David and Jason. I love to read and belong to the SJGCC's neighborhood book club and to the Newcomers of North St. Johns book club. I am also an active member of my church, MissionWay.
I am a Realtor and professional stager with Watson Realty Corp., specializing in the senior real estate market, short sales, and relocation. I am also a co-owner of Distinct Interiors, LLC a real estate staging and redesign company. I enjoy wearing sterling silver jewelry and in my spare time, I sell Silpada Designs through home shows, fundraisers and events.
I also volunteer in the following organizations:
- Member and Secretary/Treasurer of BNI's Dollar Producer chapter for the CR210-WGV area. BNI is a professional networking organization that helps members to increase their business through a structured, positive and professional "word of mouth" program that builds business relationships.
- Volunteer-mentor of the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
- Member of the Newcomers of North St. Johns, a non-profit social organization whose purpose is to welcome, offer friendship and provide information about this community to those in North St. Johns County.

The 210 Citizens' Alliance grew organically and spontaneously. The
current Board Members, many of whom originally did not know each other,
simultaneously began reaching out to other residents, communities,
and even businesses to improve the CR 210 West area. Although the
Members came from different neighborhoods, they all recognized the same
thing: That the 210 West communities were disparate and the area was
suffering because of it. Through word-of-mouth, the grass-roots
Citizens Alliance was eventually formed. The Citizens Alliance strives
to enhance the area through aesthetic, social, and cultural projects and
events.
Over the past several years leading to the group's
formation, I had become dismayed by commercial clear-cutting, very poor
or non-existent landscaping, and the plummeting community spirit and
reputation of the area. I began scrambling to make a difference and,
fortunately, I met the positive and energetic Members of the Citizens
Alliance. These wonderful individuals have proven to me that the simple
adage, "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" is very
true. None of the aesthetic, social, or cultural events under execution
by the Citizens Alliance could be accomplished by our individual
neighborhoods on their own; the tasks are just too great. The area must,
and will, continually improve itself, and I hope to play at least a
small part towards that end by being a Member of the 210 Citizens'
Alliance.
I work in the field of international
accounting and have lived with my wife in Stonehurst Plantation for over
four years.

I was born into an Army family while my Dad was stationed in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. When I was a year old, we were transferred to Bonn, Germany, so my first memories are of Europe. We returned to the Philadelphia area where I grew up.
I joined the Army myself when I became a West Point Cadet. I graduated from the Academy and began an Army career as an Artillery Officer. My first assignment was to Fort Bragg, NC, where I was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. During my tour there, I deployed to Grenada on Operation Urgent Fury.
The Army later sent me to law school at the University of Florida, after which I became a Judge Advocate General's Corps Officer (JAG). As a lawyer I served in Georgia, Virginia, Kansas and Hawaii. We lived both on post and off post in houses we owned. We have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in urban planning and execution.
I retired from the Army in 2005 and we settled in the St. Johns Golf & Country Club. My parents lived in St. Augustine for nearly 25 years, so we have seen this area grow. My law practice is right here on County Road 210 and focuses on the needs of our neighbors and local businesses. I hope to serve the 210 Citizens Alliance to develop a consensus among our neighbors to promote smart growth resulting in a great place for all to live and work!

I was originally born in a Suburb of Chicago but when I was very young, we moved to Plantation and later, Boca Raton. Even though I left our state to pursue my college education in Colordao (Go Buffs!), I still consider myself a Floridian since I have lived here most of my life. So getting involved in the community that I live in is a natural instinct for me. I always strive to improve my home and community so that should I leave, I leave it better than when I first arrived.
First, an opportunity appeared in my own community, Stonehurst Plantation. I helped to revise our Architectural Review guidelines and then worked hard creating a website for a central source of divulging community information for Stonehurst. I then stepped up to the plate and became a part of our Board of Directors, serving for only one year. Unfortunately, I could not run for re-election due to personal circumstances, but enjoyed the opportunity to help cut our expenses, improve our common areas and security systems.
Next, I heard about the 210 Citizens Alliance at its inception and decided to help out any way I could. At our first meetings, it became apparent that there was a need for disseminating information to the CR 210 area. I suggested and received approval for creating our website. It has since become a great resource for CR 210 information with subjects that directly input our neighbors, homes and traffic.
I am proud to know the members of this group and their tremendous achievements they have accomplished. Some of these are: a regularly scheduled local Farmer's Market, successfully opposing a commercial venture that just "did not fit" in our locale, jointly working with a commercial developer to make changes to their PUD and continuing to work with our county government to add landscaping to CR 210. Please help me in improving our CR 210 area by joining our diversified group of individuals - individuals contribuiting their time and talents to help this area grow and become a beautiful place to live in.
